• 20-year-old kayaker found dead after struck by lightning on Blackwater River (weartv.com) — A 20-year-old man from Crestview, Michael Aiden Vargas, died after being struck by lightning while kayaking on the Blackwater River in Santa Rosa County on Sunday. Authorities say witnesses, including his father and Navy recreation staff, searched immediately, and multiple agencies later recovered his body. The incident remains under active investigation.

The Kitten ate and drank good yesterday afternoon. By Evening she was full of energy, and driving the dogs crazy. She appears to have been just… (Nextdoor Mare Creek Farms) - Very sweet orange and white tabby kitten, approximately 5 months old, showed up today on my front porch.
Very sweet, affectionate and is missing the last half of her/his tail, which looks like a fairly new injury. Unable to identify the gender but… (Nextdoor P J Adams Pkwy)
