• Missing Florida man's remains identified after being found on Eglin AFB property 10 years after he vanished (fox13news.com) — Human remains found on Eglin Air Force Base property have been identified as a DeFuniak Springs man who vanished in 2015, bringing a decade-old missing-person case back into focus for those living and working on base. Investigators are still determining how he died and how his remains ended up in the wooded area, and they’re asking anyone with information to contact Walton County authorities or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers.
