• Angel brings Heiken vision program to students with free exams and glasses (weartv.com) — A Ferry Pass Middle School sixth grader is seeing clearly again thanks to a free eye exam and glasses provided through the Florida Heiken Children’s Vision Program. Escambia County school health director Betty Hagans pushed to bring the mobile clinic here, resulting in 369 exams and more than 250 students receiving glasses at no cost to families.
