Deputies say there are no immediate signs of foul play and no known ongoing threat, even after another set of remains was found nearby weeks earlier.
   

• Florida man dies in boating accident at Watts Bar (herald-citizen.com) — A 72-year-old Homosassa resident, Stephen Mason, died after falling overboard from a pontoon boat on Tennessee's Watts Bar Reservoir, where he was not wearing a life jacket. Authorities say multiple local agencies responded, and this marks Tennessee's 16th boating-related fatality of 2026.
