Covenant Roofing and Construction Collects 2,627 Pounds of School Supplies in Record-Breaking Stuff

Covenant Roofing and Construction, Inc.® earned first place as the top business contributor in the Education Foundation of Lake County’s Core Tools for Schools Summer Supply Drive after collecting 2,627 pounds of school supplies through its Stuff the Truck campaign.

The company began the campaign with a goal of collecting 1,000 pounds, but support from employees, customers, community partners, and donors helped more than double that goal.

Covenant’s collection contributed to a record-breaking community-wide total of nearly 8,000 pounds of school supplies for Lake County teachers and students.

The donated supplies will help stock the Education Foundation’s Apple-Mart stores, where Lake County public school teachers can obtain classroom materials at no cost throughout the school year.

“Every backpack, notebook, pencil, and donation represents someone who chose to invest in a local student,” said Cara Newby, Marketing Manager. “Seeing our employees, customers, and community partners come together around this effort was incredibly meaningful. It reflects what The Difference Is The Promise® means to us—showing up, keeping our commitments, and giving back to the communities we are blessed to serve.”

Employees helped collect, prepare, load, transport, and unload donations, while customers and community partners helped spread the word and contribute supplies. An anonymous donor also provided a generous contribution that added significant momentum to the campaign.

The Stuff the Truck campaign is part of Covenant Roofing and Construction’s broader commitment to supporting the communities it serves throughout Florida.
