A Haitian doctor living in South Florida was detained and accused of participating in the assassination of Haiti's President Jovenel Moïse early Wednesday. Haitian National Police Chief Léon Charles said 63-year-old Christian Emmanuel Sanon was one of the leaders of the assassination plot, the Miami Herald reported.

$1 Million Florida Lottery Prize Claimed By Bradenton Man

A Bradenton man won a $1 million top prize from the $5 GOLD RUSH SUPREME scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release. Alain Sierra chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000.
