Construction firm Robins & Morton is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Smith to project director.
In his new role, Smith will coordinate with clients, design partners, trade contractors, and the Robins & Morton team to ensure the effective planning and execution of projects. He brings 24 years of experience in the construction industry, having joined Robins & Morton in 2022, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Technology from the New York Institute of Technology.
"Healthcare construction creates a lasting impact on the communities we build in, and I've been fortunate to be part of that work at Robins & Morton for the last four years,” Smith said. “Being part of projects that directly improve patient care has been the most rewarding part of my career, and I'm looking forward to taking on this new role and continuing to deliver projects that make a difference across South Florida.”
In his time at Robins & Morton, Smith has guided one of the company's largest projects, the Gloria Drummond Patient Tower at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and continues to support multiple projects throughout South Florida.
