• School Closures, Rezoning On The Table As Escambia School District Begins 'Right-Sizing' Process (northescambia.com) — Escambia County's plan to 'right-size' public schools could eventually change attendance zones or even close and consolidate campuses that serve Molino families. A new advisory committee meets September 24 to craft recommendations on rezoning, facility use, and program changes, with public town halls promised in each board district before any decisions take effect next fiscal year.

• Reminder: Kids Get Free Breakfast And Lunch At 44 Escambia County Schools (northescambia.com) — Families in Molino should know that students at Molino Park Elementary qualify for free breakfast and lunch this school year through Escambia County's Community Eligibility Provision program. Parents at non-CEP schools like Kingsfield Elementary must still apply or pay, but Molino Park and several other campuses automatically provide no-cost meals, helping ease grocery bills for many local households.
