Pasco Detectives Make 2nd Arrest In Hudson Apartment Shootings

Pasco County Sheriff's detectives have arrested a second person in connection to the multiple shooting at a Hudson apartment complex.

HUDSON, FL -- Pasco County Sheriff's detectives have arrested a second person in connection to the multiple shooting at a Hudson apartment complex on Aug. 15 at 7:55 p.m. (see related story).

Detectives arrested Alexas Marie Gregas, 19, of 12424 Hicks Road, Hudson, Saturday, Aug. 18, for third-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (vehicle).

Gregas is the girlfriend.of Anthony Blount, 21, 12424 Hicks Road, who has been charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

According to detectives, Gregas arrived to the drug deal at the Ridgestone Apartments in Hudson in a red Mitsubishi Outlander. She was observed by a witness handing a handgun to Blount through the window of her vehicle and then she waited as a lookout.

When Jamarquez Codling of Dade City and Kiyondrea Redfield reportedly got into Blount's Dodge Durango to make a drug deal and then tried to rob Blount. Gregas reportedly rammed her vehicle into the side of her boyfriend's Dodge Durango with Codling and Redfield were inside.

Codling and Redfield then exited the Durango and ran to the white Nissan sedan that they arrived in, driven by Ariell Felder of Zephyrhills.

Blount exited from the driver`s side of the red Durango holding a hand gun and began chasing after Codling and Redfield. Blount reportedly fired at least 13 rounds into the white Nissan, striking Felder in the back of the head. Felder pressed the accelerator and the car crashed into the apartment building.

Codling then left the white Nissan and ran toward the red Durango while firing rounds from a handgun in Blount's direction.

Gregas then rammed her vehicle into the driver's side of the Nissan before leaving the area, according to detectives. Blount also fled the scene in the red Durango.

At some point during the altercation, Codling received a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead.

Blount also received two gunshot wounds during the altercation. Felder remains in critical condition.

Redfield is still at large and there is a warrant for his arrest for second-degree murder and felony possession of marijuana. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
