Pedestrian Died After Being Hit By Truck In Zephyrhills: FL Troopers
A 73-year-old man died after being hit by a truck while crossing a highway in Zephyrhills, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — A 73-year-old Zephyrhills man died after being hit by a truck while crossing State Road 54 on Monday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
A Ford F150, driven by an 82-year-old Wesley Chapel man, was heading east on the highway just before 1:30 p.m.
Around that time, the Zephyrhills man was trying to cross the highway east of Coats Road.

He walked into the path of the truck and was hit by it, FHP said.
The pedestrian was brought to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
