Officer Lassos Gator Taking Stroll In Central Florida: Police
A tiny gator taking a stroll through Tavares, near some local businesses, was lassoed by an officer, police said.

TAVARES, FL — An officer lassoed a gator taking a stroll through Tavares, a town not far from Mount Dora, on Sunday.
The tiny gator was walking down the sidewalk in front of local businesses, Tavares Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.
“The worst part was that the gator was far from water (aka its home,)” the agency said.
