• Man accused of driving through crowd at Palatka block party booked into Clay County jail (actionnewsjax.com) — Palatka police say a driver accused of plowing through a crowd at a city-approved block party was shot by officers, treated at a hospital, and is now jailed in Clay County on serious felony charges. Several people were hospitalized after the incident near 20th and Eagle streets, and authorities report the suspect allegedly fled, returned, and crashed into a patrol car and others before officers opened fire.
