⢠Rector bringing lessons of faith to book fest Free Access (palatkadailynews.com) ā Palatka readers can meet local rector and author Jon Davis at the Garden of Reading Literary Festival on Sept. 26 at Ravine Gardens State Park, where heāll sign his new book on deepening faith through ādangerousā prayers. The free-with-park-admission event will feature more than 50 authors, childrenās activities, food trucks, and the unveiling of One Book One Putnamās 2027 community read.

⢠Former PDN site back on market while school remains open (palatkadailynews.com) ā Palatka families with children at Putnam Classical Academy should know the former Palatka Daily News building housing the schoolās new middle school campus is back on the market for $1.15 million, even as classes continue. School leaders havenāt yet explained how the listing might affect long-term plans, but enrollment is still open and the original Campbell Building campus downtown remains the primary site.

⢠Prep football: Wildcats follow Blue Devils script, run way past Panthers, 22-7 Free Access (palatkadailynews.com) ā Palatka Highās Panthers fell 22-7 at home Friday as Baker County controlled the clock and the line of scrimmage, limiting Palatkaās offense to one sustained scoring drive. Interim coach Paul Mast praised his playersā effort and vowed better preparation as the team, now 1-4, looks to turn its season around after another tough night at Bennett-Cooper Field.
