Four dead in Bay County house fire (bradenton.com) — Bay County officials say four people, including two grandparents and two school-aged children, died early Friday in a house fire on Greenbriar Drive in Fountain, northeast of Panama City. Local deputies and firefighters from multiple counties tried to rescue those trapped inside, and one deputy was hospitalized for smoke inhalation as the state investigates the fire's cause.
