FSU Panama City hosts Discovery Day by the Bay for prospective students (wjhg.com) — Prospective students and families just got an up-close look at FSU Panama City through the Discovery Day by the Bay, featuring campus tours and conversations with faculty and students. With record enrollment nearing 1,700 students, the bayfront campus is now accepting applications for summer and fall 2027, giving locals a clear path to start or continue their degrees close to home.

Jackson County Deputies Search for Two Missing Juveniles (wiregrassdailynews.com) — Law enforcement in nearby Jackson County is urgently searching for two missing juveniles who left a Graceville facility and may be traveling in a white truck toward Panama City. Anyone in the Panama City area who spots them or has information is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff's Office immediately to help bring them home safely.

3. Bay High grad inducted into Air Force Hall of Fame returns to visit school (wjhg.com) — Bay High School in Panama City welcomed back graduate and retired brigadier general Gregory L. Brundidge, recently inducted into the Air Force Hall of Fame for Cyberspace Operations and Support. Students now learn in a renovated campus where the JROTC building bears his name, connecting today's cadets with a powerful local example of long-term military service and achievement.

4. Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Drug Charges in Washington County (wiregrassdailynews.com) — A 39-year-old Panama City man faces multiple felony drug charges after Washington County deputies say he ran from a traffic stop in Vernon and discarded suspected narcotics. He was later detained with a Taser, and investigators report finding methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and paraphernalia before booking him into the Washington County Jail.
