One injured in shooting outside Panama City gentlemen's club (newsherald.com) — Residents in Panama City should know that a shooting outside Bambi's Dollhouse on U.S. Business 98 left one person in critical condition early Friday morning. City officials say the victim was shot multiple times around 2:30 a.m., and the case remains under active investigation. The same club was also the scene of a separate shooting in 2025.
   

3. Mosley football cruises past Lincoln in dominant homecoming victory (newsherald.com) — High school football fans in Panama City saw Mosley dominate Lincoln 35-7 at Tommy Oliver Stadium, pushing the Dolphins to a 6-0 record heading into their bye week. North Bay Haven, meanwhile, fell 42-6 to Baker in Panama City Beach while battling key injuries and relying on a freshman quarterback. Several other local teams, including Arnold and Bay High, also wrapped up important Week 6 matchups.
   

4. Gulf Coast Jam releases entire lineup for 2027 festival (newsherald.com) — Country fans in Panama City can start planning now: the full 2027 Gulf Coast Jam lineup is out, with Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Bailey Zimmerman and more set for June 3-6 at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach. Tickets are on sale in tiered pricing with payment plans starting at just 10% down, and prices will rise as tiers sell out.
   

5. FSU Panama City hosts 9th annual suicide prevention summit 'Hope Has a Purpose' (mypanhandle.com) — FSU Panama City recently hosted the 9th annual "Hope Has a Purpose" suicide prevention summit, emphasizing open conversations about mental health for Bay County residents. Speakers highlighted warning signs like isolation and risky behavior, shared personal experiences with PTSD and trauma, and reminded locals that the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available around the clock.
