Escambia County Government: Escambia County Offices To Close For Thanksgiving, Nov. 25 And 26

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 25 and 26, the following Escambia County offices will be closed: 

• Escambia County Board of County Commissioners - all departments including: 
  • West Florida Public Libraries (all locations)
• Escambia County Property Appraiser
• Escambia County Tax Collector
• Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller
• Waste Services Administration
• Supervisor of Elections Office
• ECAT administrative offices
• Escambia County Animal Welfare & Adoption Center  

Special Notes:

• The Clerk's offices will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24
• The Escambia County Animal Welfare & Adoption Center will be open with regular hours of operation on Saturday, Nov. 27
• The Perdido Landfill will be open with regular hours of operation on Friday, Nov. 26
• ECAT buses will not run on Thursday, Nov. 25. Regular service will resume on Friday, Nov. 26
• Only the UWF Express Trolley will resume regular service on Saturday, Nov. 27. The campus trolley will resume service on Monday, Nov. 29.
