Escambia County recognizes and honors our veterans who have served. In observance of Veterans Day on Thursday, Nov. 11, the following Escambia County offices will be closed: 

• Escambia County Board of County Commissioners - all departments including: 
  • West Florida Public Libraries (all locations)
• Escambia County Property Appraiser
• Escambia County Tax Collector
• Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller
• Waste Services Administration
• Supervisor of Elections Office
• ECAT administrative offices
• All ECAT buses and routes
• Escambia County Animal Welfare & Adoption Center  

Exceptions:

• The Perdido Landfill will be open with regular hours of operation on Thursday, Nov. 11
