FLORIDA — After a better-reviewed second debate against Democrat Joe Biden and early voting underway in Florida, President Donald Trump returned to the Sunshine State on Friday to try to secure voters in the crucial state. He hosted a Make America Great Again rally in The Villages at 4:30 p.m. and then heads to Pensacola for a 7 p.m. MAGA event.

Both Trump and Democratic nominee Vice President Biden consider Florida a key battleground state needed to win the election. Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, made campaign stops in Jacksonville and Orlando on Monday.

Thursday's second and final debate between Trump and Biden was far more civil. Whether because of the mute button or the terrible reviews — especially for Trump — the two interrupted each other far less frequently, even as they clashed on issues ranging from the coronavirus to crime.

Trump, in particular, was on his best behavior early, especially with the moderator, whom he'd repeatedly attacked before the debate.

These rallies followed Thursday evening’s presidential debate between Trump and Biden at Belmont University in Nashville. Trump was recently in Miami Oct. 15 for a town hall meeting that aired on NBC.
