Suspect Sought In $2K Stein Mart Grand Theft
The man allegedly carried swiped loot past cashiers and out the doors of the Seminole establishment. SEE VIDEO, PHOTOS. [Breaking]
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A suspect, who allegedly loaded up a Stein Mart shopping cart with approximately $2,000 of items, including Michael Kors handbags, perfume and clothing, and walked out of the business without paying, is sought by local detectives.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office today released surveillance photos and video of the grand-theft suspect, described as a white male in his early 30s, 140 to 160 pounds with a large tattoo on his left calf.
During the 7:30 p.m. incident at the Seminole store at 7967 113th Street North on March 15, he appeared to be wearing a white Callaway golf hat, bright orange Nike shirt, blue tennis shoes and dark shorts.

Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit said the man walked in the store, placed various items in his shopping cart, made his way to the front of the store, and was then allegedly observed on surveillance video walking past the cashier counter carrying the merchandise and setting off the security sensors as he exited the store.
