Gabby Petito’s Mother ‘Fed Up’ After Release Of Laundrie’s Notebook
Brian Laundrie's notebook confession to killing Petito was released, and her mother tweeted she's "fed up" and "the truth will be revealed."

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Gabby Petito’s mother, Nichole Schmidt, tweeted Monday morning that she’s “fed up” after an attorney for Brian Laundrie’s parents released pages from his notebook in which he confessed to killing her daughter at a Wyoming campground last August.
The notebook was found near Laundrie’s remains in a Sarasota County park. He killed himself last September by shooting himself in the head after returning home to Florida without Petito, his fiancee, authorities said.
In a written confession, Laundrie said Petito fell in while crossing a stream at the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping area and injured herself. She had difficulty staying awake, and he said he worried she might have a concussion.

“I don’t know the extent of Gabby’s injurys (sic)," he wrote in his notebook. "Only that she was in extreme pain. I ended her life, I thought it was merciful, that it is what she wanted, but I see now all the mistakes I made. I panicked; I was in shock.”
In her tweet, Schmidt shared an image with the words, “Narcissists rewrite history to escape accountability.”
