Missing Diver’s Body Found In Waters Off Sarasota County Beach: Sheriff
Detectives are investigating the death of a diver whose body was pulled from the waters off a Sarasota County beach.
ENGLEWOOD, FL — The body of a missing diver was found Sunday afternoon in waters off Manasota Beach and they were pronounced dead, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The diver left from the beach’s shore Sunday morning and didn’t return by about noon, when they were reported missing.
SCSO worked with multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as fire rescue partners, to search for the diver.
