Bradenton Brewery Facing Foreclosure Says It’s ‘Now Current’ With Bank

After recent reports that Motorworks Brewing was facing a $1.9 million foreclosure case, ownership said that the brewery is “here to stay” in a statement shared on social media.

“We want to take a moment to thank everyone for the incredible support, messages and encouragement over the past few days,” the company said. “We are happy to share that we are now current with the bank and working closely together to resolve the matter moving forward.”

Motorworks, located at 1014 9th Street W., was facing a $1.9 million foreclosure case, the Bradenton Herald reported on May 27.

Seacoast National Bank, the plaintiff, filed the foreclosure lawsuit on May 21 across four loans borrowed by Motorworks Brewing LLC and Princess T LLC. The bank is seeking repayment of the loan’s principal, interest and late fees, and also asked the court for a deficiency judgment and an order to sell the property and evict the brewery, the Herald said.

3 Sarasota Restaurants Recognized By Michelin Guide FL

Three Sarasota restaurants were honored by Michelin Guide Florida during Thursday’s ceremony announcing the 2026 selections.

In total, two new Florida restaurants were awarded Michelin stars, while 10 earned the Bib Gourmand distinction and 38 were named Michelin-recommended eateries.

In Sarasota, the New Orleans-inspired Lucky 8 earned the coveted Bib Gourmand distinction, which recognizes restaurants that offer great food at a great value.

Two Sarasota eateries, Focaccia Sandwich + Bakery and Tralia, were among the newly recommended Florida restaurants.

12 New Shops, Restaurants Planned For Sarasota's UTC

University Town Center in Sarasota announced that 12 new shops and restaurants are coming soon as the retail and dining hub continues to expand.

The additions will total more than 86,000 square feet across several parts of the property off Interstate 75 and University Parkway, UTC said.

Brewery Closes After Seven Years In Business

The owners of 3 Keys Brewing & Gastrobrew, 2505 Manatee Ave. E., announced in a social media post at the end of last month that “with heavy hearts” the brewery will permanently close at the end of May.

“Like so many small businesses, the continued slowdown in the economy has made it no longer possible for us to keep going. It is not the ending we envisioned, but we are at peace knowing we gave it everything we had and that you were with us every step of the way,” the owners wrote.

Mexican Restaurant Opens Second Location In Bradenton

A Mexican restaurant on Anna Maria Island has expanded, opening a second location in Bradenton.

Los Chiludos Fresh Mexican Grill celebrated the grand opening of its location at 4418 State Road 64 E. location, in the Braden River shopping plaza, earlier this month.

“We look forward to seeing everyone and can't wait to be a part of the Bradenton community. Our website is getting finished so online ordering might not be available immediately. You are more than welcome to come and place an order to go or call us … We have a lot of new staff so PLEASE be patient and understanding,” the owners wrote in a social media post.
