TAMPA, FL — Saucy! by KFC, a new spin-off from the fast-casual chicken chain, is expanding its footprint in Florida with the opening of its fourth Tampa-area restaurant.
The specialized concept, which focuses on chicken tenders, dipping sauces and beverages, will celebrate the opening of what will be a flagship location for the brand in the Carrollwood area, at 12650 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., on Saturday, a news release said.
Saucy! will host a signature Saucy! Soirée from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., offering guests a look at the brand’s biggest space yet, with exclusive offerings only available at the Carrollwood location.
The event will offer guests an early taste of the Saucy! x DRIPS by Pepsi® collaboration, featuring “four bold, mood-inspired drinks” that are exclusively available at Saucy! locations. A fifth beverage flavor, Tropical Energy Escape, a coconut-forward energy blend, is only available in Carrollwood, the news release said.
Guests will also get to try Saucy’s all-new Big Sammie, a partnership with King’s Hawaiian, featuring chicken tenders, greens, hashbrown straws and the choice of a signature sauce on a soft, slightly sweet blend.
The event also offers guided tastings at the Sauce Bar with a “Sauce Sommelier,” free swag bags for the first 50 guests, a live DJ, a photobooth and interactive games.

Saucy! plans to open two additional locations in the greater Tampa Bay area, in Bradenton and Trinity, a previous news release said.
The brand also operates three locations in Orlando and one nearby in Winter Park.
