Pit Bull Found Stranded On FL Highway Median
A FL Trooper helped Hillsborough County Animal Control rescue a pit bull wandering the median of Interstate 275.

TAMPA, FL — A pit bull was found stranded Wednesday morning in the median of Interstate 275 near mile marker 56, Trooper Andrew Fuqua with the Florida Highway Patrol said in a report.
After receiving a call from a passerby about the dog, Fuqua responded to that area of the highway, near the Hillsborough and Pasco county line, around 7:15 a.m.
When he arrived, he found the pit bull walking around, unrestrained.

“The dog appeared to be agitated and showed its teeth when I approached it,” Fuqua said.
Hillsborough County Animal Control later responded to the scene and took possession of the dog.
