Tampa Bay Lightning Round 2 Tickets On Sale Soon
The Tampa Bay Lightning's win over the Detroit Red Wings sends the team onto round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
TAMPA, FL — With its Thursday night 1-0 shutout of the Detroit Red Wings, the Tampa Bay Lightning neatly sewed up victory in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs while earning a berth in round two.
Bolts’ goalie Ben Bishop helped the team in its round one victory march by managing to stop 34 shots on goal by the Red Wings. Alex Killorn gets the credit for scoring the Lightning’s only goal in Thursday’s game, bringing the series to a close five games in.
That victory means Tampa Bay fans get to enjoy more hockey action as post-season play continues. Tickets for the next series of seven games go on sale to the general public Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. While the schedule and opponent are still murky, fans can secure their seats for the on-ice action that is yet to come as the defending Eastern Conference champs skate toward another chance at the cup.
