Woman Fatally Shot Near Ybor City Parking Garage: Tampa Police
The fatal shooting of a woman by someone she knew near an Ybor City parking garage is under investigation, Tampa police.
TAMPA, FL — A woman was fatally shot early Tuesday morning in Ybor City, in the area of the Centro Ybor Parking Garage, authorities said.
A man brought the victim, who had a gunshot wound, from the 1500 block of E. 5th Avenue to a nearby hospital just after 1 a.m., Tampa police said in a news release.
The woman later died from her injuries.

Early evidence indicates that the shooting wasn’t random and was an isolated incident.
The woman knew her shooter, police added.

“All parties involved have been identified and are cooperating with investigators,” detectives said.
