Jacob Carreras, 25, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the May 25 fatal shooting of 29-year-old Peter-Austin Afentakis.

Carrera was charged with second-degree murder.

Carreras and Williams got into an argument with Afentakis while on the street in the 100 block of 1st Avenue N. just before 3 a.m., investigators said.

Both suspects shot at Afentakis, who later died from his injuries, police said.

A second victim suffered a minor injury in the shooting.
