Shoes At The Door Dance presents its first evening-length work in St. Petersburg, which the Studio@620 says "explores the choice we face between isolation and engagement. Blind spots develop when we insulate ourselves from things we deem inappropriate to see, hear or speak of. Throughout the work, intersections force detours and spark improvisation. Using movement, gesture, partnering and text, the dancers maneuver to find a balancing point between avoidance and interaction."
