Erotic Egypt: An Evening of Ancient Amatory Art

Inspired by its exhibit "Ancient Egypt: Art and Magic," the Museum of Fine Arts presents an evening of Egyptian-inspired pleasures for ages 21 and older:

  • A lecture about “Ancient Egyptian Erotica” the exhibit's guest curator, Dr. Robert Steven Bianchi, at 7pm in the Marly Room.
  • Displays in the glass Conservatory of Egyptian-inspired couture fashion by Spathose; jewelry; perfume, chocolate, and spices; henna tattoos; and more.
  • A cash bar with a signature drink, plus beer and wine.
  • Light hors d’oeuvres.
  • A chocolate fountain with strawberries and champagne after the lecture.
  • Music.

All the galleries on the first floor, including those containing the "Ancient Egypt" exhibit, will be open for viewing as well.
