The Studio@620 presents Daniel Talbott’s controversial drama about teen gay bullying. "Slipping" features Eli, an openly gay high-school senior who moves with his mother from San Francisco to Iowa after the violent death of his father and being dumped by his abusive boyfriend. A possible relationship with a boy at his new school "exposes Eli again to the possibility of closeness and the danger of being swallowed by it," the theater's description says.
Talkbacks will follow seven of the scheduled performances through Feb. 19.
