Today marks the first anniversary of the new Dali Museum. In celebration, activities for various ages are scheduled throughout the day, from scavenger hunts to origami to craft-beer tastings. These activities are free with museum admission; each museum member can bring a friend for free today.
However, activities in the first floor and garden are free to the public. At noon, Museum Director Hank Hine will announce new exhibits for the year against a backdrop of a giant mustache, acrobats, and an appearance by Dali himself, with birthday cake served afterward.
