• $80M medical magnet high school aims to put Pasco County students first in line for local healthcare jobs (tampabay28.com) — An $80 million medical magnet high school is planned near Double Branch Elementary in Wesley Chapel, giving Pasco County students a free, specialized path into high-demand healthcare careers by 2028. Funded by Penny for Pasco, property taxes, and medical partners, the school will feature nursing-focused electives, simulated surgical labs, and programs aimed at keeping local graduates first in line for North Tampa Bay medical jobs. 
• 7759 Windchase Way, Wesley Chapel, FL 33545 (redfin.com) — A Wesley Chapel parcel on Windchase Way is designated within Pasco County's Master Planned Unit Development (MPUD) district, a zoning tool meant to encourage flexible, mixed-use neighborhoods. The rules aim to cluster housing, protect open space and rural character, and support efficient land use for future residential, commercial, and recreational projects in the area.
• Wesley Chapel among 13 cities tied for 44th in Florida for July scam reports (pascoreporter.com) — Wesley Chapel residents reported seven scams to the Better Business Bureau's Scam Tracker in July, down from 11 in June but still enough to rank 44th among 237 Florida cities with reports. Most local cases involved online purchases, with about $687 lost overall and one resident out nearly $300 after ordering a counterfeit product. The BBB encourages residents to use its tracker to research and report scams.
