Final $120 P-EBT Benefits Issued For Young GA Children
The state funding was distributed to assist families with buying groceries.
GEORGIA — The final payment of about $120 in Pandemic-EBT benefits for students who received free or reduced meals in the 2022-23 academic year has been issued, the Georgia Department of Health Services said Thursday.
The summer funding is part of Georgia's continuation of its P-EBT program that began during the COVID-19 pandemic and assists students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The program helps families buy groceries.
Children who were in child care and aged 0-5 and those 5-years-old who turned age 6 from January-May are eligible for the benefits if they were enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program during these covered months.
