• Acworth man accused of fighting Cobb officers during traffic stop (ledger-enquirer.com) — An Acworth resident has been jailed without bond after Cobb County police say he resisted and fought officers during a traffic stop on South Cobb Drive earlier this month. The 24-year-old is accused of multiple traffic violations and felony obstruction after allegedly pulling two officers toward moving traffic before being booked into the county detention center.
   

• Acworth man charged with hanging posters promoting white supremacist group across city (ledger-enquirer.com) — An Acworth man faces a misdemeanor charge after police say he posted numerous propaganda flyers for a white nationalist group on power boxes, street signs and light poles around downtown. A resident's social media photos helped link the posters to a group described by the Anti-Defamation League as a white supremacist organization, leading to an August 10 arrest.
