• Cobb & Douglas Public Health Offers Free Mosquito Larvicide Tablets (cobbcountycourier.com) — Acworth residents can pick up free mosquito larvicide tablets at the Acworth-Kennesaw Public Health Center now through October 30 to help reduce West Nile virus risk around their homes. Cobb & Douglas Public Health is offering one six-tablet pack per household, alongside reminders to regularly dump standing water and use larvicides only where water can't be drained.
