Alpharetta High School Bands Celebrate a Winning Weekend

A weekend of strong results brought excitement to the Alpharetta High School band community as multiple teams earned recognition at regional competitions.

The Indoor Percussion team claimed top honors at GIPA on March 29, scoring 91.85 in the Scholastic A division with their show “To Listen is to Love.” Earlier in the weekend, the Winter Guard Cadet team placed third at the SAPA Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee, earning an 81.30 with “Love Me Not.” The Winter Guard Varsity team also secured a top‑five finish in Chattanooga with an 80.80 for “What Remains, What Becomes.”

The school invites families to attend the Indoor Percussion team’s upcoming appearances at the GIPA State Championships on April 4 and the WGI World Championships from April 15–17.

Students curious about Guard are encouraged to stop by the Audition Clinic on April 2, held from 4–7 PM in the Aux Gym.
