Bank Offers $5,000 To Catch Alpharetta Robbery Suspect
The suspect, who covered his face with a shirt, brandished a firearm and demanded money from tellers at Wells Fargo on North Point Parkway.
ALPHARETTA, GA -- The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety continues to seek clues and leads in the case of an attempted robbery at a local bank.
A reward of $5,000 is also being offered by Wells Fargo for information that identifies and leads to the arrest of the suspect in the Oct. 3 attempted robbery of its branch at 5750 North Point Parkway.
The suspect, who disguised his face with a T-shirt, walked into the bank, brandished what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money.

However, police say the suspect "became nervous and fled on foot." Witnesses described the man as a black male with a thin build. He wore jeans, and a long-sleeved dark shirt that was layered by a light-colored shirt.
Anyone who knows the identity of the suspect or has information pertaining to the attempted robbery is asked to call the Alpharetta police anonymous tip line at 678-297-6307.
