Food Truck, Craft Beer Concept Rolls Into Alpharetta

Truck & Tap hopes to open in the downtown area in August.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- A unique concept that's proved to be popular in a neighboring city wants to bring its ideas to downtown Alpharetta.

Truck & Tap has announced plans to bring its food truck venture to the city's central business district.

Zach Yurchuck, co-founder of the venture, said they are shooting to open in August at 30 Milton Avenue.

"We love what’s going on there with the downtown area," he said of Alpharetta, adding the city is expected to continue its growth over the next few years.

Truck & Tap opened in late 2015 in downtown Woodstock. The eatery offers a rotating selection of food trucks, craft beer and wine from around the world.

The lineup of food trucks changes each week and includes an array of bites such as barbecue, seafood, French cuisine, pizza, Mexican and Caribbean treats.

Truck & Tap's Alpharetta concept will be a bit larger than what they are working with in Woodstock. The Milton Avenue space is slated to have a private room, rooftop deck and be outfitted with 20 taps of beer, Yurchuck added.
