A national real estate brokerage website has ranked Alpharetta the best Atlanta Suburb for Families.

San Mateo, Calif.-based Movoto analyzed data on schools, crime rates, monthly housing costs and other factors for 28 metro-Atlanta suburbs.
Schools in Alpharetta ranked 9 out of 10. The city also received high marks for its high income and low unemployment.

The rankings, released last week, touted the variety of home styles available and community events such as Food Truck Alley and the upcoming July 4th fireworks extravaganza at Wills Park.
Movoto also notes the proximity to shopping destinations that provide access to big-name retailers. In May, Movoto also ranked Alpharetta as No. 1 in its 10 Best Suburbs in Atlanta rankings.
