On June 10, 2023), the Piedmont Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution presented 5 Flag Respect Certificates to recipients in Roswell, Marietta, and Woodstock. Flag Respect Certificates are presented to those individuals and institutions that show proper flag respect by ensuring the flag is displayed properly, and either lit up at night or brought indoors at night. Craig Benton, Flag Respect Committee Chairman and Stacey McCarver, Piedmont Chapter President presented certificates to David and Rebecca Wallis, Alvin and Barbara Benton, Rose Oak HOA, and Jeff and Andrea Williams.
