Milton Friends Announce Fourth Annual Down & Derby
High profile Atlanta Fundraiser to Benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta
Back by popular demand, the Milton Friends of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta announced the Fourth Annual Down & Derby scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, 5:30-10 p.m.
Due to the event's rising popularity, the 2026 Down & Derby will be held at the The Green at Crabapple Market. The new location right in the heart of Milton allows additional space for guests, day-of activations, and the inclusion of local business partners.
In the first three years of hosting this volunteer-led fundraiser, more than $675,000 has been raised to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This year, the Friends group hopes to exceed more than a million dollars raised to support a top pediatric healthcare system in the country and a staple in the Atlanta community.

Jennifer Linn, 2026 Co-Chair of the Milton Friends commented, “Our new location opens the door to something we’ve long envisioned — a curated community experience featuring local businesses and partners, with the evening’s delights sourced right here in our community. The Green at Crabapple Market provides the perfect backdrop for Down & Derby’s signature charm, energy, and generosity, while allowing us to grow our impact for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta."
General admission tickets will go on sale next month, but sponsorships are available now. Sponsoring the event guarantees admission, a huge benefit as tickets have sold out almost immediately in years past.

Milton Mayor Peyton Jamison is especially excited to have the event move to downtown Crabapple, home to the city's offices.
“Every year, Down & Derby raises the bar in bringing Milton residents together to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and those families who rely on them in times of need. This is what community is all about – helping those who need it – and I’m excited to see the people of Milton step up yet again," said Jamison.
