3 Dead, 4 Arrested In Series Of Atlanta Shootings
A 3-year-old boy was among the three people who died in recent shootings in Atlanta while a teen is facing murder charges, police say.
ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta Police said they have arrested four people, including a teenager, in connection with the fatal shootings of three people.

- A 29-year-old man is facing murder charges in connection with a shooting that killed a male around 8:45 p.m. Saturday in the 80 block of Allen Temple Court Northwest, police said.
After finding the male suffering from a gunshot wound, police said he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries. His age and name were not revealed.

On Sunday, police said they arrested Xavier Postell in connection with the deadly shooting. He faces a charge of murder and was taken to the Fulton County Jail, police said.
- A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of a 12-year-old boy around 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Lathrop Street Southeast, police said.
The younger boy was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a home when officers arrived, police said. He was in critical condition when he was taken to a hospital, but died of his injuries, police said.
The 14-year-old, who was not named, was arrested on charges of murder in connection with the shooting and was taken to the Metro Youth Detention Center, police said.

- Police say they have arrested one of two people sought in connection with the fatal shooting of a 3-year-old child on Easter in the 900 block of Washington Street Southwest.
Officers found the child suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived. Police said the child was later pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police said they arrested Barbara Edwards, 71, Monday and that Jermaine Hardeman, 35, remained at large.
Both are facing charges of felony murder, second-degree cruelty to children and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police have not identified the child or said what led to the circumstances.
