Atlanta, 2 GA Cities Named Top Foodie Hotspots

Atlanta has lots of good stuff to eat, according to a ranking of the nation's "best foodie cities." Plus 2 GA cities also make the list.

ATLANTA — Diners in Atlanta know the city's top restaurants dish up more than barbecue, and know they can find cutting edge food trends and dishes dreamed up by nationally renowned chefs. It's not surprising, then, that Atlanta was named one of the nation's best foodie cities in a recent WalletHub ranking.

The personal finance website ranked 182 U.S. cities on 29 factors of "foodie-friendliness," from the cost of groceries to restaurant diversity.

Atlanta came in at No. 11 in the nation, while two Georgia cities also made the list. Columbus ranked No. 176 on the list, followed by Augusta at No. 179.
