Cardi B Wants People To Register To Vote
Rapper Cardi B says in a video posted by her record label, Atlantic Records, that more people need to register to vote.

ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta resident and rapper Cardi B has a message for fans. With the November election right around the corner, she’s urging people to register to vote. Her record label, Atlantic Records posted the short video on Monday to its Instagram.
“It’s Cardi B and let me tell y'all something, state deadlines are coming very quick so make sure y'all click the link in the bio so y’all can register to vote,” she says in the video supporting the non-partisan group HeadCount.

In efforts to reach more Latino voters, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign published a new Latino community agenda at the start of August. To reach young voters, they are partnering with Latino influencers like Dulce Candy and Cardi B.
In June, young Latino voters were asked in a Telemundo and BuzzFeed News poll to name politicians who had “shown up” for the Latino community, 33 percent said "no one."

According to a Somos/UnidosUS national survey released this month, 64 percent of Latino voters said they had not been contacted by either party or a civic group this year.
Recently, Cardi has become more and more vocal with her political opinions. The rapper hasn’t been quiet at all when it comes to her issues and dislikes.
She voiced her support for Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders and later, even sat down for an interview with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Cardi told Biden to “Get Trump out” of office.
Earlier this year Cardi B said that she was contemplating running for Congress to "shake things up."
