High Tea, Hot Stones, and Elegant Eats Define Mother’s Day Weekend 2026 at Lanier Islands Resort

The lakeside destination invites families to celebrate their moms in an array of ways. They can raise their pinkies and a teacup to salute their favorite matriarch during a chic Afternoon Tea on Friday, May 8, through Sunday, May 10. They can schedule her for a well-deserved hot stone massage or any variety of services at Tranquility Spa throughout Mother’s Day Weekend. They can gather around a table in the Grand Ballroom at Legacy Lodge for a decadent Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10, that’s every bit as epic as she is. Or – if they book an overnight stay at the resort – they can do all three and so much more.

On the menu for the Mother’s Day Brunch at Lanier Islands Resort – which will feature numerous seatings between noon and 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 10 – are:

• A Seafood Station featuring cocktail shrimp, oysters on the half shell, and smoked salmon
• A Salad Station with a variety of offerings – including a spring-inspired Strawberry Chicken Salad
• Artisanal cheese display and vegetable crudité
• Carving Stations showcasing garlic-studded prime rib of beef, cornbread-stuffed turkey roulade, and maple-bourbon glazed ham
• Action Stations featuring pan-seared beef medallions, shrimp and grits, pastas, and more
• A Kids Corner with an array of favorites to please even the pickiest eaters
