ATLANTA — A Fulton County judge is expected to hear evidence regarding District Attorney Fani Willis' potential relationship with her lead prosecutor at a hearing next month, per media reports Thursday.

The Washington Post reported Willis, whose office is leading the prosecution against former U.S. President Donald Trump in an election subversion case, is also accused of misusing public funds.

Willis has until Feb. 2 to respond in writing to the accusations ahead of the Feb. 15 hearing, the Post reported.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Willis is alleging the prosecutor's estranged wife is attempting to interfere with her case against Trump and 18 others who are all accused of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. The group was indicted in August 2023 on several racketeering and election interference charges.

The news comes a week after U.S. Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene filed a complaint with Gov. Brian Kemp and Attorney General Chris Carr, accusing Willis of criminal misconduct.
