Watch Replay: President Trump Speaks At Brian Kemp Campaign Rally
President Trump was in Macon Sunday at a Brian Kemp campaign rally, and you can watch a replay of his appearance here on Patch.
MACON, GA — The biggest political name in the nation was in Macon on Sunday, rallying voters for Republican Brian Kemp as he faces off Tuesday in Georgia's nationally watched governor's race. President Donald Trump said Kemp's opponent, Democrat Stacey Abrams, "is one of the most extreme, far-left politicians in the entire country.
"You put Stacey in there, and you're gonna have Georgia turn into Venezuela," Trump said, adding that an Abrams administration would make the state's jobs disappear. "I don't think the people of Georgia like that."
Kemp and Abrams are locked in what is arguably the nation's most watched governor's race. Recent polls show the race to be a virtual tie, fueling speculation there could be a Dec. 4 runoff if neither wins outright next Tuesday (Libertarian Ted Metz is also in the race).

Trump chose the campaign's final weekend to make an appearance. Earlier in the week, Oprah Winfrey and former president Barack Obama campaigned for Abrams in metro Atlanta, while Vice President Mike Pence stumped for Kemp in northwest Georgia. Several other Hollywood personalities, including actor Will Ferrell, have also been active in Abrams' campaign.
Also on Sunday, Kemp, who is also Georgia's secretary of state, said his office is investigating the Democratic Party of Georgia's "failed attempt to hack the state's voter registration system," according to a statement on the agency's website. The SOS said it opened its investigation on Saturday, Nov. 3.

It also said it notified the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI about the alleged attempt. The statement on the Secretary of State's website offers no additional details or evidence of the claim.
The Democratic Party of Georgia put out a lengthy statement chastising Kemp's office, adding the claims by the office are "100 percent false."

Abrams is seeking to become the nation's first African-American female governor in history. Kemp, who is also Georgia's secretary of state, is aiming to maintain GOP control of the governor's office the party has enjoyed since 2002. Both are running to replace Gov. Nathan Deal, who cannot run for a third term.
