• Family seeks legal action against Bainbridge Public Safety, Walmart after arrest (walb.com) — A Bainbridge family is pursuing legal counsel after a 71-year-old woman was injured and cited for disorderly conduct during an Aug. 18 encounter with Bainbridge Public Safety officers at the East Alice Street Walmart. The department has opened an internal investigation and is reviewing video of the incident, while the woman continues medical treatment and says she's now fearful of returning to the store. 
• Bainbridge neighbor's calls for neighborhood safety lead to new barricades after repeated car crashes (wtxl.com) — After four crashes into his Bainbridge backyard, a resident's persistent complaints have prompted the city to install new reflective barricades and a flashing red light at Avenue C and Second Avenue. Public Works officials say the project should be finished within weeks, and neighbors hope the upgrades will finally slow drivers and better protect children in the area.
