State Bank and Trust Company announced today that Tracey L. Smith has joined the bank as Vice President of Private and Professional Banking for the Atlanta region. Ms. Smith most recently was a private banker with First Citizens Bank and spent much of her 25-year banking career with SunTrust’s Commercial Banking, Private Banking and Wealth Management groups.

Ms. Smith is an active member of Providence Presbyterian Church and the Board for CASA, a court-appointed volunteer advocacy service for abused and neglected children.
